Each year, on November 14, we celebrate World Diabetes Day — a key moment to reaffirm our shared commitment to advancing diabetes prevention, management and care.

To mark the occasion, IDF Europe invited Members of the MMD Group and other MEPs to record a special video message. These messages were filmed in front of the mobile health unit that IDF Europe set up outside the European Parliament, offering free cardiovascular, diabetes and obesity screenings and highlighting the vital importance of early detection and prevention.

IDF Europe and the MMD Group wish to thank MMD Members, MEP Peter Agius (EPP, Malta), MEP Laurent Castillo (EPP, France), MEP Sirpa Pietikäinen (EPP, Finland) and MEP Elena Nevado Del Campo (EPP, Spain), for reaffirming their commitment and joining us in celebrating World Diabetes Day 2025.
